FAQs
How often is the data updated?
Data is refreshed daily. The previous day will be the most up-to-date complete day of data while the current day may have partial data as a data refresh occurs mid-day.
Where is this data coming from?
Performance and investment data is sourced directly from your ads accounts (Google Ads, Microsoft Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.). Google Analytics comes directly from your Google Analytics account view that you have either provided us or we have setup for you. Google Search data comes directly from Google.
What if I forget my username or password? What if I need to change our e-mail login?
You are able to reset the password as long as you have access to the email associated with it by clicking Forgot Password on the login screen at foundationdirect.com/dealer-reporting. If you forget your login e-mail or need to change your login e-mail associated with the account please contact your Foundation rep or send an e-mail to support@foundationdirect.com
Why do I need to login to see the dashboard?
We at Foundation believe in transparency but also want to keep your data safe. A public link is prone to being distributed or accessed by anyone which could reveal your ad spend, keyword strategy and performance. A login keeps your data safe and secure.
I’m seeing incomplete fields or Ø for metrics that I believe I should see data on.
You may not have data to pull in due to timeframe or ad platform your are looking at (e.g., you turned off Facebook spend in the last 30 days and are trying to look at that period of time or you currently are not implementing YouTube with Foundation). If you believe you should be seeing data reach out to your Foundation rep or send us an email to support@foundationdirect.com and we will investigate the issue.
For users using Safari or Firefox browsers.
Dashboards might not load if using Safari or Firefox Browsers due to disabling third party cookies by default which prevents the dashboard iframes from loading. Use Chrome for the best experience. If you want to use Safari or Firefox browsers you must enable third party cookies. For Safari enable Prevent Cross-Site Tracking setting (This also applies for Safari Mobile.) For Firefox enable third party cookies.
Dashboards are taking a long time to load.
We are bringing in millions of rows of data across multiple platforms across large periods of time, this is taxing on data warehouses and takes time to pull requests in real-time. We are continuously working on increasing load times and hope to continue to improve performance as we develop and tweak these dashboards.
My filters do not stay when I switch between dashboard pages.
We are aware of filters not staying when switching between dashboard pages. Unfortunately that is currently a limitation in the reporting tool as each dashboard page is pulling from different sources and filter options potentially change based on the dashboard page (e.g., looking at Google Search and Bing Search on Capture Demand dashboard page vs. YouTube Video and Facebook on the Create Demand dashboard page). We are continuing to work on updates and improvements to the user interface.
